Action cards of the Steel Ink type also have strong effects, dealing damage in copious amounts, so players will want to form a strategy that can combine Glimmers with Actions in their turn to really hurt their opponent
It also synergizes well with strategies that leverage life as a resource (such as decks featuring Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Phyrexian Obliterator) where you already expect to pay life or need more cards to keep up momentum
Mana Maze is super useful if youre laboring to pull off the Blind Seer deck, but I think people are sleeping on this because they havent read the oracle text
