Aechmea recurvata Billbergia 'Lilac Time' with regular wetting and dryingHere we have a very lovely Aechmea recurvata. This particular plant was collected or purchased by a friend in Madiera. The particular recurvata variety of this plant is unknown to me. But as you can see by the plant in my photo it is very beautiful and colors up bright red. Aechmea recuvata's are very easy to grow, it prefers bright light and a poor free draining soil. Pot, hanger and compost available separately.
