Comes on a base plate for mounting. This plate measures 6 1 4 long x 5 3 4 wide. The total height (this includes base plate) is 4 7 8 tall. Without the plate the winch is 4 5 8 tall. Measuring the winch inside diameter it is 2 5 8 wide. It fits size 3 16 wire. The handle insert area is 1 diameter.
