1861 $5 Virginia Treasury Note Cr.5 - Apparent Very Fine - First Issue Year of the Rooster No folds but a couple5 in round scalloped counter above; oval female portrait below. 5 FIVE protector below; Ceres seated facing right behind large V; two panels with terms below. Nice Very Fine, except for the small bite out of the right margin. The first series notes are substantially more difficult to acquire than the second series (1862) notes.
