Then blackberry bushes, trodden dandelions, toasted seeds, tomato plants and dry cereals. An intriguing aroma of vase water and Turkish delight intrudes upon proceedings. A little water and there is hessian sackcloth, frying pork and apple sausages, sour cherry kriek beer and fresh rhubarb. The arrival on the palate is riddled with wild flowers, kale
