The ability to shut out your opponents combat steps forever with Cryptic Command loops means theres a lot less need to be using removal spells on anything but the most aggressive and disruptive creatures, whilst the repeated card draw from Archmages Charm means you dont care as much about playing cards like Mystical Teachings to give you inevitability
